Breaking: PDP Leaders Protest At INEC Over Presidential Election Result
The Peoples Democratic Party leaders are currently protesting at the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters in Abuja over the just concluded presidential election.
PDP National Chairman, Uche Secondus, led thousands of party supporters to the commission’s office located at Maitama arund 3pm.
The party’s candidate Atiku Abubakar, in the election, lost to the All Progressives Congress (APC’s) Muhammadu Buhari with over three million votes margin.
But PDP rejected the outcome of the election which the party said was militarised and the result fraught with irregularities.
The PDP leaders and members are currently chanting solidarity songs in front of the INEC office amid heavy security presence.
