Kogi Guber: Kogi State Is Currently On Life-Support – Usman Jibril
Former Chief of Air Staff, Vice Admiral Usman Jibril has said that Kogi state is currently on life support under the current governor Yahaya Bello, adding that it is only the state where Permanent Secretary ride on Okada to office.
Addressing newsmen on Monday after picking his nomination form to contest the governorship ticket of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the former Chief of Staff promised that if given opportunity to govern the state, his leadership will embrace inclusiness at all level.
While lamenting that Kogi state at the moment needs a competent hand to rescue it from maladministration, he described the four by four sign of governor Yahaya Bello as a “gangsterism.”
He called on APC leaders not to allow Yahaya Bello to decieve them into blackmailing them to do his bidding.
He said the process of indirect primary should be the new standard for the party and Kogi state should not be different.
“I am on the rescue mission. Please join me in this race to save our state from the bad administration.”
Reacting to insinuation that he was planning to dump APC to ADC, Jibrin vowed to achieve his governorship ambition in the ruling party, saying “Let me use this opportunity to clear the air on the rumours coming from the state government. I will remain in APC until I achieve my governorship ambition.”
